OutreachCommunity Yoga Class
First Christian Church, Oakland, CA - Every Wednesday evening at 7:00pm, Empowerment Yoga, in association with Niroga and Bay Area Black United Fund, offers a basic yoga class to community members interested in learning more about Yoga, nutrition, and natural healing. The class is open to all ages and ability levels. The approach is educational and structured to meet the needs of the participants. Every class is different, but effective in meeting the needs of the participants. Rehabilitative ServicesEmpowerment Yoga is a proud provider of wellness and counseling services to Bay Area facilities and community organizations. Walden House, Camp Sweeney, and Alameda Juvenile Justice Center are three such organizations that provide substance abuse counseling, and other forms of treatments for the physically, mentally, and socially challenged.
